Opens PayPal checkout for this plan; after you approve it you come back to this page, and your page code arrives by email from [email protected] within a few minutes.

A 300-page RFP is over the 150-page limit. Only its first 150 pages are converted in one pass (the first 10 on the free allowance), and the desk says how many pages were converted. Split a long RFP by volume or section, convert the parts separately, and append the downloads in Excel.

What you pay for

The plans differ in two things: how many files you can convert in a period, and how many pages of each file are converted. The matrix itself, the filters, the owner and status editing, and every download format work the same on every plan.

A page is a page of the PDF as the conversion service counts it. A file with more pages than the cap is not turned away: the pages up to the cap are converted, the desk says how many ("Only the first 10 of 40 pages were converted"), and the downloads carry -partial in their names. When the service turns a file down for a used-up allowance, the desk shows the service's message as it comes back and builds no matrix.

Choosing and starting a plan

  1. Start on the free allowance Convert one short RFP or RFQ and check the rows against the PDF. Free: 1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account.
  2. Check the page count of your real RFPs A file is converted up to its page cap: 10 pages on the free allowance, 150 with a page code. Pages past the cap are left out, so split a longer RFP by volume or section before upload.
  3. Pick the plan by volume Pro is for one bidder doing up to 40 RFPs a month (6,000 pages on the code). Team is for up to 5 people sharing 150 a month (22,500 pages).
  4. Subscribe through PayPal The button opens PayPal checkout for that plan. Approve the subscription there and PayPal brings you back to this page; we never see your card details.
  5. Enter the page code from the email Within a few minutes the code arrives from [email protected], with a link back to this page that saves it for you. Enter it once and it stays in that browser; on Team, each person enters the same code in their own.
  6. Convert, then download Upload as usual. The code is drawn on only when the free allowance cannot cover a file, files up to 150 pages convert in full, each renewal tops the code up, and the downloads are the same on every plan.

What the first pass costs, three ways

Cost and limits of the first pass
What you need Manual highlighting Generic PDF-to-text TenderMatrix
Cost of a first matrix Staff hours reading, copying and typing each requirement. Free or cheap, but you build the rows yourself. Free for one short file a day. $149 or $299 a month for regular bidding.
Volume Grows with every page. No limit on text, no structure either. Pro: 40 RFPs a month, files up to 150 pages. Team: 150 RFPs a month, files up to 150 pages.
Who can use it Whoever has the time. Anyone. No account on any plan: paid access is a page code entered once per browser. Team is for up to 5 people entering the same code.
Where it falls short Tired readers miss clauses. A wall of text, not rows. Pages past 150 are not converted, so longer files must be split. Wording with no modal verb can be missed.

Questions bid teams ask

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free: 1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. Nothing to sign up for. A file over 10 pages is not refused: it is converted up to page 10, and converting more needs a paid plan.

What does Pro include?

$149 a month: 40 RFPs a month and files up to 150 pages. On your page code that is 40 × 150 = 6,000 pages a month, topped up with each renewal. Downloads are CSV, mandatory-only CSV, Excel and JSON.

What does Team include?

$299 a month: 5 seats sharing 150 RFPs a month, files up to 150 pages, so 150 × 150 = 22,500 pages a month on one page code. The same code can be entered in several browsers: each person on the team enters it in their own, and everyone draws on the same pages.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no login on any plan. Paid access is a page code: after payment it arrives by email, you enter it once in the box on this page or under the upload area on the desk, and it stays in that browser. If you clear the site's data, enter the code again and it carries on with the pages it had.

My RFP is 300 pages. Can I convert it?

Not all of it in one pass. 150 pages is the most that is converted from one file, so only pages 1 to 150 of a 300-page RFP would come back, and the desk says so ("Only the first 150 of 300 pages were converted"). To cover every page, split the RFP by volume or section first, for example the technical volume, the commercial volume and the annexes. Convert the parts separately and append the rows in Excel. Each part takes its own page count from the code.

Are the download formats different on each plan?

No. The matrix is built in your browser, and the CSV, mandatory-only CSV, Excel and JSON downloads are the same on every plan. Plans differ in how many files and pages you can convert.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel the subscription at any time: no further payment is taken, and the pages already on your code stay there, because unused pages never expire. See the terms for the details.

Is there an annual plan?

No. Both paid plans are billed monthly.

Do you issue invoices with a customer tax ID?

No. If you need a particular invoice format, ask by email before you subscribe, and we will say whether it is possible.

Which payment methods and provider do you use?

Each plan is a PayPal subscription. The button opens PayPal checkout for that plan, you pay there with the methods PayPal offers you, and we never see your card details. After you approve it, PayPal brings you back to this page and the page code follows by email from [email protected]. If checkout cannot be started, email [email protected] with the plan name and we arrange it by reply.

I paid, but no email with a code has arrived. What now?

Allow a few minutes and check your spam folder: the email comes from TenderMatrix at [email protected]. If it is still missing, reply to that address or write to [email protected] with the payment date, and we will send the code.

Can I test a longer document without paying?

The paste box on the matrix desk reads up to 30,000 characters of pasted text in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and no allowance is used. It reads text, not PDFs, so it suits a requirements section you can copy out of the document.

What is not included?

No accounts or logins (access is a page code), no saved projects (edits live in your browser tab until you download), no API, no single sign-on, no SOC 2 report and no invoices with a customer tax ID. If one of these decides the purchase for you, write to us before you subscribe.
